Airport transfer:
Pisa Airport
Distance from the Colletto: 70 km
Time from Colletto with car: 1 hour and 15 min
Colletto Villas offers a private chauffeur service on request. The driver will pick you up at the airport and will be at your service during the part or throughout your stay.
Pisa airport is the closest and easiest to use for villas and we recommend renting a car. If you prefer not to drive, there is a good bus service from the airport to Lucca. We can let you know which taxi service to use from here or there are some local trains to Ghivizzano. You will need a taxi from here. Detailed directions on how to reach the properties will be sent shortly before your stay.
Please note that most rental cars are manual unless automatic mode is required.
The car rental companies are located in a separate terminal outside the airport, accessible by shuttle. For competitive rates, we recommend Europcar based at the US Army base, Camp Darby in Pisa (just 15 minutes by taxi from Pisa airport). Rates are exempt from 20% VAT due to the agreement entered into with the United States government. If you wish to use the company, they MUST have at least one week’s notice.
