Q&A

How many guests can Colletto Villas accommodate?
We can accommodate 34 persons at the estate (62 persons including our partner hotel 15 min away).

Do I need a wedding planner, or can I organise it myself?

How is a legal marriage organised in Italy?
Religious Wedding
By Italian law only the church permitted to perform legally binding church wedding is the Catholic church, however, a Protestant blessing can be performed in a Protestant church, or in the halls or gardens of villas or hotels.

Civil legal wedding
A Civil wedding has legal value and by Italian law can only be celebrated in a Town Hall. Most of these town halls are situated in beautiful historical buildings, villas or grand palaces owned by the local government. Legal weddings can also be organised at Colletto Villas but then a little more planning is required.

Symbolic or blessing Ceremonies
To avoid civil and religious requirements and documents, a symbolic wedding is a valid alternative. It consists a blessing or a symbolic ceremony and is not legally binding, so no paperwork is required.
